We refer work; we do not perform it
The owners of this website redirect all enquiries to third-party professionals. We do not directly provide tree removal, pruning, stump grinding or arborist services.
We do not inspect or verify the licensing, certification, insurance or competence of contractors. We expect contractors to provide accurate information about their qualifications, competence and experience, but that expectation is not a verification.
Users should request licensing, insurance, certification and any other required details directly from the contractor, and should confirm them with the contractor and with the relevant licensing authority before work begins. The about page lists what is worth asking for.
Agreements and disputes
Any agreement for work arranged through this website is made between the contractor and the customer. We are not a party to it. We will not be involved in disputes or disagreements between contractors and customers; those should be resolved between the parties, with professional advice where appropriate.
We are not responsible for any damages, losses or disagreements arising from the use of this website to connect contractors with customers.
Not professional advice
Everything published here, including descriptions of services, methods, council requirements and costs, is general information rather than professional advice. Tree risk assessment is site-specific and must be carried out by a suitably qualified arborist who has physically inspected the tree — that is what an arborist report is for. Seek professional advice before engaging any service or entering any agreement.
Safety
Tree work is dangerous. Nothing on this website should be read as encouragement to carry out tree work yourself, and nothing here should be used as a method guide. Anything touching or near a power line is a matter for Ausgrid and emergency services, not for a property owner or a tree crew. Genuine emergencies are covered on the storm work page.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, in no event shall Eastern Suburbs Tree Care be liable for any special, direct, indirect, consequential or incidental damages, or any damages whatsoever, whether in an action of contract, negligence or other tort, arising out of or in connection with the use of the Service or its content. Nothing here excludes any right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
We reserve the right to add, delete or modify content on the Service at any time without notice, and we do not warrant that the website is free of viruses or other harmful components.
