Please read these terms carefully before using this website (the "Service"), operated by Eastern Suburbs Tree Care ("us", "we" or "our"). Your access to and use of the Service depends on your acceptance of and compliance with these terms. They apply to every visitor and user. If you disagree with any part of them, do not use the Service.
What this site does
This is a referral website. It collects enquiries and passes them to independent tree contractors operating across Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. Any agreement to carry out tree work is formed between you and that contractor, not between you and the operator of this website. The position is set out more fully on the disclaimer page and in the about page.
Prices, ranges and council fees published on this site — including those in the cost guide and the permit guide — are general information, not offers or quotes. Council fees and statutory penalties change; confirm the current figures with the relevant council.
Your use of the Service
You agree not to use the Service in any way that breaches the law, interferes with its operation, or attempts to gain unauthorised access to any part of it or to any system connected to it. Content on this site is provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce it commercially without permission.
Links to other websites
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that we do not own or control, including council and government pages. We have no authority over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party website or service. You acknowledge that we are not liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on any content, goods or services available through those websites. Liability and consumer rights
To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any loss or damage arising out of your use of the Service or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of New South Wales and the Commonwealth of Australia, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of it. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. These terms are the entire agreement between us regarding the Service and replace any earlier agreement about it.
Changes
We may modify or replace these terms at any time at our discretion. Where a revision is significant we will make reasonable efforts to give at least 30 days' notice before the new terms take effect; what counts as a material change is determined at our discretion. Continuing to use the Service after revisions take effect means you accept the revised terms. If you do not agree to them, stop using the Service.
